🔒 Zero-risk invariant: the 15% commission is taken only from booking payments actually collected through the Stripe payment link sent after an accepted booking. If a request is declined, ignored, or never paid, the commission is $0 — the operator never spends or risks its own money, and hosts and bookers never pay up front.

Worked example

You list 4 spots at $20 / spot / day for a game day. A fan books 2 spots.

Payment mechanics

When a host accepts a booking, we email the booker a one-time Stripe payment link within 24 hours. The link is created per booking for the exact amount. Payment details are shared with the host only after payment clears. Payouts to hosts are arranged directly and confirmed before any commission is considered collected. No charges are ever made without the booker's explicit payment through the link.

Caps

To keep the service stable and free, the platform fails closed before any limit pressure: max 1,000 open listings and max 5,000 bookings. At capacity, new submissions are refused with a clear message — never silently queued.
